Our mission is to provide a superior level of customer service to our clients, work in a professional manner with the vendors, and support the communities in which we work through donations and in-kind efforts.

A Note From The Owner

Planning weddings and events is not just our job—it's our passion. Our greatest joy comes in seeing a happy bride walk down the aisle, relaxed in the knowledge that all details of her wedding have been taken care of. As a mother, it gives me great pleasure to see the mother of the bride equally relaxed, enjoying the event, and not worrying about what still needs to be done. We have had the opportunity to work at some of the areas finest wedding venues including: Fords Colony, Two Rivers Country Club at Governor's Land, The Williamsburg Winery, Norfolk Botanical Gardens, Dozier Yacht Club in Deltaville, Warner Hall Plantation, William and Mary Alumni House, The Hospitality House and many more.

We take our job very seriously. You'll only get married once (hopefully!), and we want to make sure that all your memories are good ones.

Company History

Williamsburg Weddings and Events was founded in 2003 by owner Sallie Wyatt. She is a Professional Bridal Consultant, certified by the Association of Bridal Consultants. Sallie has a degree in business administration from Christopher Newport University

Her career in planning events began as a volunteer with the Junior Women's Club of Hilton Village and later the Junior League of Hampton Roads, where she remains a sustaining member.
